Solar Philippines CEO, Leandro Leviste receives ISO 9001 certificate from TÜV Rheinland Business Field Manager Jocelyn Nicomedez.
Solar Philippines Commercial Rooftop Projects Inc. (SPCRPI) and Solar Philippines Calatagan Corporation (SPCC) were recently granted ISO 9001:2015 certifications by TÜV Rheinland on Quality Management Systems last April 2018 adding more milestones to Solar Philippines growing list of accreditations and certifications. In July 2017, the Solar Philippines Module Manufacturing Corporation (SPMMC) also received the same certification from TÜV Rheinland.
The ISO 9001:2015 certification is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001:2015 helps Solar Philippines ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.
Solar Philippines Calatagan Corporation O&M Head, Ronnie Crisostomo receives ISO 9001 certificate from TÜV Rheinland Sales Sr. Manager Pinky Villacrusis.
These certifications are affirmation of Solar Philippines commitment to quality and the company’s journey to excellence. Solar Philippines Module Manufacturing Corporation (SPMMC), have recently acquired the triple certificate through the addition of ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 on good management systems certified by TÜV Rheinland.
- ISO 9001: 2015 (Quality Management System) – July 2017
- ISO 14001: 2015 (Environmental Management System) – August 2018
- OHSAS 18001: 2007 (Occupational Health & Safety) – August 2018
Solar Philippines COO, Roy Oyco receives the triple ISO certificate from TÜV Rheinland Managing Director Tristan Arwen Loveres.
Equally important, the products produced by SPMMC have passed the test and certification of International PV standards.
In particular, VDE certified SPMMC products to IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 which allow SPMMC to ship to Europe, Africa, Oceania, Asia and the rest of the world. The IEC61215:2016 affirms that the design and materials of SPMMC PV modules are suitable for long-term operation in general open-air climates while the IEC61730:2016 affirms that SPMMC PV module meet electrical, mechanical and fire safety requirements.
In addition, VDE and Canadian Standard Association certified SPMMC product to have passed UL1703 which is also for PV module electrical, mechanical and fire safety. This certification allows SPMMC to ship to North America and Canada.
SPMMC products also passed the following PV Module testing.
- Salt mist corrosion (IEC 61701:2011) – June 2018
- Ammonia corrosion (IEC 62716:2013) – June 2018
- Potential-Induced Degradation (TS IEC 62804-1:2015) – June 2018
SPMMC is also certified for Tier 1 PV Module OEM products under ETL and TÜV SUD for both IEC 61215 and IEC61730.
